Are Captain Nemo’s Pilot and embarkation ladders certified?

All pilot and embarkation ladders that are manufactured by CAPTAIN NEMO are certified as follows:

  • Approved ladder design as per MEB B Certificate issued by Lloyds Register Verification
  • Approved production process as per MED D Certificate issued by Lloyds Register Verification

All pilot and embarkation ladders are accompanied by an EU Declaration of Conformity and are Wheelmarked as per above MED B & D certificates Please refer to our website for the latest certificates. In addition, our company is certified with ISO799: 2019.

Is there any expiry date for the Pilot and Embarkation Ladder Certificates and how can I deal with it?

Under the Regulation ISO799: 2019 (Pilot Ladders) & ISO5489: 2008 (Boarding stairs), after the end of the 30-month period from the manufacturing / sale of any certified ladder, we draw your attention for the timely control and issuance of the relevant certificate.
